Sunday bath is a series of images I took at the salt ponds of Kitros the last six years firstly as an exercise to overcome my fears and get closer to the strange swimmers.
My first thought was to show the body, the face and the posture but the aura of the place was the protagonist in the end.
Middle class people looking for the gifts of nature as a free of charge medicine dived into the shallow salty waters to pick up mud and enjoy floating as if they had lost weight.
Thus, my weekend-mostly visits were numerous always searching for the uncovered part of the body and the influence of the whole place on it.
The groups of men and women floating below the kitchen clocks, therapeutic mud analysis, spicy jokes and laughter finally was a mystagogy and a proper procedure for the cure.
