Many people find Brooklyn Bridge fascinating for its imposing architecture, groundbreaking history and visionary engineering.

For me Brooklyn Bridge’s magnificence finds meaning in the thousands of people who cross it every day. The gigantic steel ropes of the bridge provide for a real-life theatre that hang in the sky with thousands of tiny silhouettes “acting” on this grand set each and every day. Some are locals going to work/home, some are selfie-loving tourists and some like me are New Yorkers who love to stroll this path every now and then: Humans “gliding” in air, in perfect harmony with their surroundings. Viewed from this perspective, Brooklyn Bridge – as a stage high up in the sky - gives new meaning to this city’s life.
