Rainy Saturday afternoon in the Liberdade neighborhood. Located in the vicinity of downtown São Paulo, it is the place in the whole world where there is the highest concentration of Japanese and their descendants outside their native country. Just before the rain fell, I protected myself under a marquee and was photographing the movement without wetting my equipment. It was interesting to note that many people seemed very happy as they walked under the refreshing rain on that hot afternoon. And many continued to work even completely soaked.
