This was shot in Hamburg, Germany in September 2023. I was drawn to this scene by the extremely long and unobstructed handrail, of which I have never come across before. I used a wide focal length of 27mm to emphasise the full length of the rail, leaving the corner for a subject. I manually focused at the end of the rail and waited for the woman to enter frame.
