The emotions we experience and the way we express them usually reflect our social environment as well as the individual’s personal attitude as they can affect instantly one’s behavior and mental state. This is something we don’t usually notice on ourselves. So, as every movement, wrinkle or gesture can be a theme for a photograph, I started this challenging venture going close as much as I could to unknown -to-me, random people, without being noticed, with a view to record their real emotions as these were revealed surprisingly and unexpectedly, sophisticated and subtle, the epitome of what makes us human!

In this way, I offer the viewer the chance to analyze them with his personal criteria and from different points of view, spontaneously and unaffected, as I believe in this way he is given the opportunity to perceive his own existence.
