Senegal, a country rich in cultures, colors and traditions. My project, "Incontri", aims to capture the essence of this land through the stories of the people I met along the way.

Each face tells a piece of life, an emotion, a tradition. From the crowded markets of Dakar to the quiet coastal villages, to the Kadjar fish market, to the streets of St Louis, to the slave island of Goree I had the opportunity to discover not only the places, but also the daily experiences of those who visit them lives. Each interaction, albeit brief, left an imprint on my heart, allowing me to observe Senegal through the eyes of a tourist who, for a few days, experiences a new world.

Through my photographs, I want to invite the public to reflect on the importance of these human connections, which go beyond words and intertwine in a universal story of hospitality, resilience and beauty. "Incontri" is a journey into diversity, a tribute to the life that pulsates in every corner of this extraordinary country.
