I took this candid portrait in Fonatan di Trevi, during a trip to Rome in September 2024. I was roaming around this 'vera nonna' for a few minutes just to get the perfect framing for the contrast between the yellow buildings, blue sky and her red painted fingernails. I love how her poweful pose and her red fingernails demosntrate that age is just a mind construct.
