I'm submitting a project called "Goodnight Nanjing". Nanjing is my hometown, it's where I was born and raised. It's a historic city that dates back to nearly 2500 years ago. It used to be the capital of 6 dynasties and Republic of China. It was horribly and viciously massacred by Japanese Army during WWII, with over 300,000 victims. Yet, it's still a heartwarming city, most people who live here love the vibe and atmosphere of Nanjing, and for someone who has been living here for the past 31 years, I'm no different. I decided to use my works to show the city that I'm incredibly familiar with and in love with, a city that I call home. All works were shot in Nanjing at night with flash. And that's how this project was made. This project can be considered as my love letter to Nanjing.
