The heaviest snowfall in half a century gave us the chance to photograph Madrid in the most beautiful way we will probably ever see it. I took this photo without feeling my fingers or even noticing if I pressed the shutter, such was the cold in the middle of the snowstorm, but you had to be there: it was a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
