This photograph focuses on the spectators of Koshti-e Ba Chokheh, a traditional wrestling event organized by Afghan immigrants in the city of Qom, Iran.

Throughout the event, my attention was drawn less to the competition itself and more to the surrounding atmosphere and the spectators. What stood out most to me was the determination and enthusiasm of individuals who, even under difficult circumstances, strove to watch the matches—an aspect that, in my view, conveyed a narrative far more meaningful than the contest itself.
